Lesson 11 of 30

The six-part plan

Marketing starts with a customer and a problem. Everything else — the channel, the logo, the content calendar — is a decision you make after those two are settled.

01

Define the customer

Choose a specific segment and write the problem you solve for that group. A message for a concierge practice should not sound the same as a message for a direct-pay consumer — they are buying different things.

02

Build a minimum credible brand

A clear business name, a professional email address, a simple website or landing page, a reliable phone contact and a consistent description of services and service area. That is the floor, and it is enough to start.

03

Use referral marketing

Physician practices, senior communities, laboratories and wellness organizations can create repeated demand rather than one-off bookings. Make the referral process easy and the relationship compounds.

04

Use local search

A well-built website and an accurate Google Business Profile help people find a service-area business. Use real service areas and truthful business information — covered in depth in Lesson 12.

05

Use social media as distribution

Publish useful education, operator lessons, customer questions and evidence of professionalism. Posts should point to an owned asset such as the Academy or your booking page, not end at the platform.

06

Track acquisition

Record where each lead came from. A channel that produces likes but no qualified inquiries is not automatically valuable, and you cannot tell the difference without the record.

Common mistakes

Five failure patterns account for most wasted marketing spend in this business.

  • Trying to market to everyone
  • Paying for ads before the offer and booking path work
  • Using copied generic posts
  • Ignoring follow-up
  • Failing to track where leads came from

Where XpediPro fits

Marketing creates demand. A clean booking and follow-up system helps capture and retain it — XpediPro converts interest into an organized customer experience once someone is ready to book, so the effort that produced the lead is not lost at the last step.

FAQs

Do I need every social platform?

No. Choose the channels where your target audience actually spends time and where you can publish consistently. Two channels done properly beat six done occasionally.

Should I buy leads?

Only after you know how to convert a qualified lead and can measure customer-acquisition economics. Buying leads before that converts cash into practice.
